PayPal Simple Payment Solutions

Many small businesses do not have the budget or need to establish an advanced shopping cart solution and/or the trading history to establish a merchant facility with a bank. For this reason PayPal offer a number of basic e-commerce solutions that can pay into a normal bank account, and require minimal setup time, as payment is handled on the PayPal web site. These solutions are outlined below.

PayPal Buy Now Button Purchases

PayPal's Buy Now buttons are perfect for those clients who only have a handful of products they wish to sell, and who wish to minimise their setup costs. In this option, a PayPal account is set up and the products for sale are defined, with a description and price. On the client's web site, PayPal Buy Now buttons are added to the products with some underlying programming code.

Visitors to the site may click these Buy Now buttons to purchase the individual product, and they are delivered to the PayPal web site to enter their contact details and make payment by credit card, or even their bank account if they have set up PayPal previously. Once the purchase is complete, both the purchaser and the merchant receive confirmation of the order.

PerthWeb can set up a PayPal account and 5 Buy Now Buttons for $249 inclusive of GST, or 10 products for $399 inclusive of GST. PayPal also levies its own fees for transactions, which are outlined at https://www.paypal.com/au/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_wp-standard-pricing-outside.

PayPal Order Forms

Single page order forms are ideal for those clients who have a small list of up to 20 products they wish to sell. A purchaser is able to view the basic product details, select the quantity of any item they desire, select their location for postage pricing, and the form calculates the total cost.

They may then proceed to complete the purchase, whereby they are delivered to the PayPal web site to enter their contact details and make payment by credit card, or even their bank account if they have set up a PayPal account previously. Once the purchase is complete, both the purchaser and the merchant receive confirmation of the order.

These forms are available for $699 inclusive of GST. PayPal also levies its own fees for transactions, which are outlined at https://www.paypal.com/au/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_wp-standard-pricing-outside. It is also possible to set up these forms to pay into a normal merchant facility if preferred, which utilises a different payment gateway and does not require diversion to a separate site. Please contact PerthWeb for more details.

PayPal Basic Shopping Cart

For clients who have more than a handful of products spread across their site, the PayPal basic shopping cart is the answer. It functions like a traditional shopping cart, where purchasers may add/remove items from their virtual shopping cart, change their shipping region, and view their total purchase price before proceeding to make payment. They are then delivered to the PayPal web site to enter their contact details and make payment by credit card, or even their bank account if they have set up a PayPal account previously. Once the purchase is complete, both the purchaser and the merchant receive confirmation of the order.

This basic shopping cart is available for $699 inclusive of GST for up to 25 products, of $899 for up to 50 products. PayPal also levies its own fees for transactions, which are outlined at https://www.paypal.com/au/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_wp-standard-pricing-outside. It is also possible to set up the shopping cart to pay into a normal merchant facility if preferred, which utilises a different payment gateway and does not require diversion to a separate site. Please contact PerthWeb for more details.
